A Grand Celebration of Progress
The centennial festivities took center stage on January 20, 2025, with a spectacular Grand Float Parade and Street Dancing. Faculty and students from Mapúa SOM proudly represented the School of Health Sciences Cluster, alongside the School of Nursing, ETY School of Business, and the Office of the Executive Director for Partnerships. Their float, inspired by Mapúa’s legacy of global innovation from 1965 to 1974, symbolized a tradition of progress.
Adding to the celebration, Mapúa SOM earned 3rd place in “Best Use of Generative AI” at the Mapúa OBE Best Practices Centennial Edition on January 23, 2025. This prestigious recognition reflects the school’s dedication to interdisciplinary excellence and its seamless integration of AI in medical education.
